Ex-Muslims of North America (EXMNA) is proud to sponsor the 1st annual Rights and Religions Forum, an academic conference devoted to the study of how religious freedoms and individual rights intersect in the United States, other liberal societies, and the world at large. The Rights and Religions Forum (RARF) is an effort spearheaded by EXMNA Executive Director Sarah Haider and Footsteps founder Malkie Schwartz. The event will feature speakers from a multitude of faith backgrounds, examining what happens when religious liberty impedes on personal liberty and how this tension should be resolved in a country where liberty is a cornerstone value. EXMNA is proud to support these efforts of awareness-raising and conversation-building with a monetary grant. The day-long conference will take place in October 2019.
